Welcome to Dance Cooperative of Long Island * New in 2010

4 July 2010

DCLI is a dance club. Its members are a varied group that comes from all walks of life and have one thing in common: a love of dance. Founded in 2010, DCLI joins a variety of groups and clubs on Long Island formed around dancing. DCLI seeks to bring together dancers who want to have some control over the cost of dancing. Lessons are expensive, particularly the important private lessons. Group lessons, just as important, can also be costly. DCLI seeks to form groups of people with similar desires and then engage professional instructors to teach in group format. We believe that bringing a ready made group to a venue, and then engaging instructors, is a better, more cost efficient way for members to learn and practice dancing.
